I found Johnson’s anecdotes motivating and inspiring, and appreciated how she made the plan both specific in the action steps needed, but also customizable for different goals and outcomes. The book is just a rehash of that program, which I found very effective and motivating. Just move past these errors and look at the message being relayed. I like Chalene’s workouts, and her fitness and nutrition ideas are sound, as are her thoughts on valuing yourself and your time especially the parts about collecting “wounded birds” and learning to say nobut since I already have a p If your primary goals are fitness-related, then you might find this book helpful.
